Description

This course provides a comprehensive overview of the design, implementation, and management of modern digital payment systems. Participants will gain practical knowledge and strategic insights into key aspects such as technical infrastructure, business models, regulatory frameworks, and the importance of interoperability. The curriculum emphasises strategies for ensuring financial inclusion, addressing the needs of underserved populations, and navigating the complexities of launching a new payment system.

This course is well-suited for professionals working in central bank payment systems departments, payment service providers (including banks, Electronic Money Institutions, and Fintech companies), as well as development agencies and consultancies. It is particularly relevant for those tasked with establishing an Instant and Inclusive Payment System scheme and ensuring its design supports inclusivity and interoperability.

Participants come from a wide range of business and operational backgrounds, including programme management. Prior knowledge of Instant and Inclusive Payment System operations is not required, but such experience enhances the learning journey.
